Pickin’ up support At “Bluegrass, Blue Jeans and Barbecue,” the music festival taking place at a local farm on Saturday, the up-and-coming local band High Ground will perform the same mix of traditional bluegrass and original songs that has endeared the band to audiences around the Southeast. New exhibit explores Hank Williams’ family legacy It’s no shock that the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum got a tepid response from Hank Williams Jr. on their plans for an exhibit on his family, from his iconic and troubled father through his own ####-raising days to his children’s lives. The museum wanted Williams, a private man, to open his vault of family keepsakes. Needless to say, their first meeting didn’t go well.
