Sweet days are coming
Those who live there always knew it was a sweet dream, life in Stuarts Draft. Now even outsiders have caught on, thanks to Stuarts Draft postmaster Kevin Blackford, who came up with the idea; the Augusta County Parks and Recreation Department; the area's civic groups and the dozens of businesses that collaborate on the annual Sweet Dreams Day, now in its fourth year.‘Living’ music
Gabby Haze, a local group, will have a benefit concert for PACE and their first CD release party at Prince Michel winery, 154 Winery Lane, Leon, approximately 35 minutes north of Charlottesville on Rt. 29, on Saturday, Aug. 25, from 6 to 9 p.m. Admission will be $5. All proceeds from the concert and CD sales at this event will be donated to the Pat Magnone Scholarship fund of PACE center for girls offering education, counseling, training and advocacy.An American tradition
