Hog heaven: Rallyin’ in the Valley returns Hundreds of bikers wheeled into the Queen City and headed toward the edge of town for the first day of Rallyin’ in the Valley 4, a celebration of everything motorcycle, hosted this weekend by Shenandoah Harley-Davidson Buell, located at 213 Rolling Thunder Lane off Route 11 South in Staunton.

People respond differently to the word “religion.” For some, it is a stuffy, super-serious suggestion that there is too much fun going on in the world and that we should put a stop to it. For others, it is a positive word that means church, family, faith, discipleship, the Bible and anything else pertaining to God. Others dislike it for much the same reason.

1969: Valley Workshops, now Vector Industries Inc., established in Waynesboro During the mid-1960s, Congressional legislation set the stage for the development of sheltered workshops to provide jobs and employment training for persons with severe disabilities. Previously, few job opportunities existed for this population.
