Arrested Staunton man rented, then pawned, police report

Staunton police arrested a man Thursday who reportedly rented a Sony LCD TV and Playstation 3 from Rent-a-Center on Statler Boulevard, then pawned them.
Kevin Martin, 27, of Staunton, is charged with obtaining money by false pretenses. He is free on bond.
Police did not report which pawn shop was involved. The TV was valued at $1,596 and the gaming system at $450.
