As the close of voting loomed this afternoon, City Council at-large candidate Jeremy Taylor took a brief respite from Election Day labors.
“Things are going very well,“ Taylor said. “It has been very exciting.“
Ward D, where Taylor has been for much of the day, has experienced a relatively high voter turnout. Election officials have been taking hourly attendance counts and expect the final tally to at least match the ward’s record.
“We see that as very favorable,“ Taylor said. “Voters seem to be very energized and focused on the issues.“
Taylor will man Ward D, located at Westminster Presbyterian Church, for the remainder of the day.
