A tractor-trailer wreck on Interstate 81 southbound at mile marker 213 backed up traffic seven miles Tuesday morning, a Virginian Department of Transportation release said.
The tractor-trailer caught fire after crashing into two utility trucks, causing one of them to catch fire.
Traffic was detoured at exit 217, located at Route 654 in Mint Spring, and proceeded to Route 11 to exit 213B to re-enter I-81 in Greenville.
The accident was first reported at 7 a.m.
