Construction equipment worth $1,900 was reported stolen yesterday from an Augusta County building site, police said.
The theft took place between Tuesday evening when workers left the site, located on the 100 block of Country Club Circle near Staunton, and Wednesday morning, police said. Missing items include five high-powered air compressors, two electric saws and a 100-ft. air hose.
The equipment had been left unsecured, and there was no sign of forced entry, police said.
