The case of two teens charged with attempted murder stemming from a drive-by shooting near Stuarts Draft was certified following a preliminary hearing Tuesday and will now go to a grand jury.
The alleged victim, Joshua Baska, testified Tuesday in Augusta County General District Court that several shots were fired at his vehicle while he was driving from Stuarts Draft toward Sherando.
Deputies said previously that Nathaniel Owen Stinnett, 19, repeatedly shot at Baska while he was driving his vehicle on Howardsville Turnpike last November. Kyle Duane Stullenburg, 19, is accused of being an accessory to the shooting. The suspects claimed that Baska owed them money, authorities said. No one was injured.

Shoot em up, bang bang! The prosecution is to be commended for working this case to the point where it is ready for presentstion to the Grand Jury. Publicity is the best weapon we have to combat this tendency among some to take out their frustrations with a gun. Shoot amd you will be prosecuted.
