Items worth $4,045 stolen from Staunton home

An assortment of tools, several coils of wire, a 36-inch television and various other items, with a total value of $4,045, were stolen from a Staunton residence Thursday night, police said.
Entry into the house, located on the 1000 block of Frog Pond Road, was gained through a second-story window, and a garage door was apparently kicked open, said Capt. Dwight Wood of the Augusta County Sheriff’s Department. The theft occurred sometime between 8:30 p.m. Thursday and 8:00 a.m. the following morning, Wood said.
No arrests have been made.
