Metal detector stolen in Churchville

A burglary in the 200 block of Mountain Run Road in Churchville reported Tuesday resulted in the loss of $600 of property, according to the Augusta County Sheriff’s Office.
The sheriff’s office said a metal detector and earphones were reported stolen during the burglary, which took place sometime between Tuesday morning and Wednesday afternoon.
A metal door with a broken window and door-knob was also reported.
