Runaway vehicle careens through outdoor kitchen

An out-of-control vehicle ran off Route 250 Saturday afternoon and careened through an outdoor kitchen at a Fishersville landscaping business, causing around $30,000 in damage, police said.
The driver sped away after the apparently accidental incident, which occurred between 2:00 p.m. and 4:13 p.m. at Village Garden on the 1000 block of Jefferson Hwy., police said. No one at the business was injured.
An investigation is ongoing, police said.
