The News Virginian and NBC29 are co-sponsoring a City Council candidates forum tonight at the Kate Collins Middle School auditorium.
It will be the last chance to see the candidates together before the May 6 election. The event begins at 7 p.m. Admission is free.
Candidates wishing to represent Ward B and the At-large seats on the council will be featured in the forum. The Ward B candidates include Bruce Allen, Greg Bruno and Chris Graham, while the At-large candidates are DuBose Egleston, Jr., Frnak Lucente and Jeremy Taylor.
NBC29 reporter Tamara Hinton will serve as moderator, with The News Virginian posing questions to the candidates. The forum will last 90 minutes and will offer candidates two minutes each for introductory and closing remarks, and two minutes to answer individual questions.
Look for highlights of the forum on NBC29 News at 10 p.m. and 11 p.m., and hear extended excerpts on the Political Pulse section of its Web site, nbc29.com, later this evening.
The candidates most recently gathered for a forum last week at the Waynesboro Senior Center.
