Citizens need to take responsibility

The Constitution is ordained and established for the purpose of accomplishing six main objectives; one of those is to promote the general welfare.
Banning school prayer does not even hint at promoting the general welfare.
Giving birth control pills to adolescents without parental consent or without proper guidance concerning morals and decency does not promote the general welfare.
An immoral sex education program that after 40 years results in an alarming increase in divorce, a national concern about illegitimate pregnancy and a rising percentage of sexually transmitted diseases among teenage girls does not promote the general welfare.
Rapists have admitted that pornography is their great motivator. Pornography does not promote the general welfare.
Abortion destroys the very human resources that are the future of our national strength. That does not promote the general welfare.
According to the Ninth Amendment, certain rights should not be construed to deny or disparage the right of the people to create a decent moral society that does promote the general welfare.
It is the constitutional responsibility of the government to promote the general welfare. It is the responsibility of the citizens to remind the government to make it happen.
