On behalf of the Preston L. Yancey Volunteer Fire Company, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the citizens of Fishersville and the surrounding communities for their financial and physical support throughout the year. Your backing and assistance has enabled the department to carry out its pledge to protect and serve the community. With your continued support, we will strive to honor our commitment.
Preston Yancey is situated in one of the fastest growing regions of Augusta County. With this growth comes an increasing responsibility to maintain the higher level of efficiency required to adequately serve the community. As the area grows, so must Preston Yancey, in order to keep pace with the rapid expansion.
If anyone is interested in getting involved in this very important aspect of community service, we hope you will consider becoming a Preston Yancey “active” or “auxiliary” member.
