Stuarts Draft falls to Staunton River
In Moneta, the Southern Valley girls soccer underdogs’ season was ended on Monday night, after Staunton River shutout Stuarts Draft 2-0. Staunton River’s Britain McCullough and Michelle Behrer scored both goals. The Golden Eagles will travel to Lord Botetourt tonight for the Region III quarterfinals.May 17, 2008
Woodson, Berry claim doubles championship
FORT DEFIANCE – The second-round of the Southern Valley championship proved to be a nail-biter in the boys’ singles Saturday afternoon. Rockbridge’s Dominik Lehmann dominated during the regular season and won the championship on Saturday defeating Stuarts Draft’s Scott Nelson 6-4 in the last set.Page 1 of 1 pages
