In Rockbridge, the Cougars wrapped up their Southern Valley District season on Thursday with a 5-1 win over the Wildcats.
Jeremy Fitzgerald pitched the complete game to pick up the win for the Cougars (9-8, 4-4 Southern Valley), striking out one while allowing five hits. Zac Marion and Matthew Via each hit two-run home runs in the win.

Boys soccer
* Wilson 2, Bath County 0
In Fishersville, Matt Thomas and Mitchell Jones both scored unassisted goals during the Green Hornets win over Bath County.
Girls Soccer
* Wilson 4, Bath County 1
In Fishersville, Angelica Thacker scored two goals during the Green Hornets non-district win over Bath County.
Paige Allison and Julie Young each added the Hornets other two markers and Diedra Deacon had two helpers.
JV Softball
* Stuarts Draft 17, Rockbridge 4
In Rockbridge, Lauren Campbell pitched all seven innings and struck out 12 while allowing nine hits during the Cougars win over the Wildcats.
Emmy Blacka was 2-for-4 with three runs including her first career home run.
JV Boys Soccer
* Waynesboro 3, Fort Defiance 2
In Waynesboro, the Little Giants finished the season undefeated amongst Southern Valley District schools, beating the Indians on Thursday.
Eric Pardini, Alberto Fernandez and Andrew Quesenbery each scored goals for the Little Giants.
