PENN LAIRD - It took an overtime, but Waynesboro walked away with the Region III championship on Saturday in its 55-52 win over Robert E. Lee. The game started with the Leemen in control. Lee caught an early lead with its quick guards cutting off Waynesboro passes. The Leemen played a man defense with a trap at the top of the key, giving the Little Giants problems moving the ball around. SWOOPE - Buffalo Gap blew Central Senior out of the tournament race 82-34 on Wednesday night in the Region B, Division 1 quarterfinals. The Bison outscored the Chargers every quarter. In the first half Gap accumulated 42 points to Centrals 13 points.Wilson takes down defending champs
