First founded in Denver, Colorado in 1973, RE /MAX is now an internationally known company with approximately 140,000 associates in more than 70 countries and territories, according to their company profile. The caliber and integrity of their local agents helps makes the company “unparalleled” in the real estate market in the Valley, according to the company. “RE /MAX Advantage has made it our mission to provide our clients with professional, highly trained agents that are assisted by the finest administrative personnel and services,” said RE / MAX in their Valley Favorites competition description. “Our agents have access to ongoing weekly training and educational opportunities that help them know and understand the current real estate market at any given time.” Asked what distinguishes RE /MAX as a real estate company, Greg Kaplan, office manager at RE /MAX in Waynesboro, said it is the business’ and agent’s dedication to the local community. “RE /MAX Advantage is set apart because we have agents with a local focus and worldwide branding that works for customers in the Valley,” Kaplan said. “Also, RE /MAX Advantage cares. Many of our agents serve on numerous local organizations outside of real estate, including children’s athletics, local board members, school clubs and associations, and more. “In addition, RE /MAX Advantage partners with Children’s Miracle Network at UVa,” continued Kaplan. “Their mission is to improve and save the lives of as many children as possible.”
