The Virginia Museum of the Civil War is pleased to present History Day 2020 on Saturday, March 28, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

 Formerly Homeschool Day, this event is open to all families seeking a day of fun, exploration, and learning. There will be hands-on activities for all ages.  Join the army and learn to drill, try dancing the Virginia Reel, have fun with 19th century games and crafts, watch the Emmy-award winning film, Field of Lost Shoes, take a guided tour through the battlefield, learn 19th-century cooking techniques, and much more. Visit displays from local history and ecology organizations. Enjoy lunch and home baked goodies from the food booth. Have fun for the day and make memories for a lifetime.

Registration is open from January 27, 2020 – March 20, 2020. Limited space is available so register early. A special event rate of $5.00 per person, ages 6 and older is only available to those who register. Prepayment by March 20, 2020 is required to guarantee the discounted event rate.
